The Orient Express grants you permission to view electronically, copy and print in hard copy portions of the site for the sole purpose of browsing the site for your personal use only. Any other use of materials on the site, including a reproduction for purposes other than those noted above, modification, distribution or reproduction, without the prior written consent of The Orient Express and the lawful trademark and/or copyright owner (if applicable) is strictly prohibited and constitutes an unlawful infringement of the intellectual property rights of The Orient Express and/or such trademark and/or copyright owner.
We have done our best to display as accurately as possible the colours of the products shown on this website. However, because the colours you see will depend on the calibration of your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will be accurate. Images printed from this website may also not be colour accurate.
Most products displayed on this website are one-off pieces. We work hard to ensure that when an item is sold it is removed from the website, however it is always worth calling to confirm product availability prior to purchase. And don’t despair if you have missed out on one of our unique pieces. We can often source a very similar piece if our buyers are alerted in time.
Occasionally we are able to secure more than one of certain pieces, so please do ask if you have any queries in this regard.
The Orient Express shall take all reasonable efforts to accurately indicate prices displayed on products in store and on this website. However, should products be erroneously offered at incorrect prices The Orient Express will not be obliged to sell products at such incorrect prices, but shall refund monies paid by you, should you not wish to proceed with the purchase at the correct price.
As part of our service, we can arrange for your purchases to be taken right to your door. Melbourne-metro deliveries are done twice a week, and provision can be made for any day if necessary. Cost is dependent on distance traveled. If you inadvertently select the wrong delivery option when buying online, don’t worry we’ll get in touch and confirm the details.
Interstate delivery: Interstate delivery can be arranged by us, or if you prefer you can organise it yourself. We are open 7 days a week so there is always someone here to help load up your trailer or van.
International delivery: International deliveries can also be arranged, so don’t hesitate to enquire.
Allow 2-3 days to calculate Interstate and International delivery costs.
Payment can be processed by our sales staff in store or over the phone using any credit card (Amex and Diners incur 2.5% surcharge) or in person. We also accept direct deposit payment if you prefer, just call the store for details.
Refunds/Returns terms are clearly set out on our store receipt. There is a 2 week exchange period for change of mind (credit note or exchange only). A credit note is valid for 6 months only.
If you purchase an item online that is no longer available a full refund (including any shipping charges incurred) will be issued.
Our gift vouchers are valid for 12 months.

We offer an approval service on items of furniture and soft furnishings, such as cushions, so if you are unsure of your selection feel free to take advantage of this offer. Delivery fees apply for delivery and return.
Call us if you don’t see what you need or want on our website, and we will take a “customer request”. This means we will call you when such an item arrives in-store. Remember, the showroom has a greater amount and variety of stock than we are able to show you on this website, so it is always worth a visit if at all possible.
